I took the toll road today

I don't normally take the toll road. I took it today though because I was taking my family to see Superman Returns and I wanted to be sure to get there before the start time.
Now why is it that I can spend $28.00 on movie tickets and be ok with that, but if I spend $1.25 on the toll road I get a guilt complex?

Is that $ 1.25 round trip? If so, that is not bad at all and you shouldn't complain. : )

It is $1.25 one way, but I did not take the toll road on the way back, because I was not in a hurry anymore.
This toll road is about 25 miles long or so, and it has two tolls on it, each is $1.25, so if you took the entire road (which I did not) then you would pay $2.50 each way.

I've only taken a toll road a few times, the last being my drive from Massachusetts to Upper NY. I was charged 70-cents each way in NY for a grand total of $1.40. Not so bad. What bothered me was that I had to stop at four "toll plazas" they call 'em. That seemed kind of ridiculous.

You know what, not only is that funny...it's technically very good. You chose a font that works well with the existing signs too. Did you rasterize the text and then use the distort tool to position it like that or did you just rotate it?

Either way, I'm proud of you. It's not everyday that an obtuse knuckle dragger can operate a Photoshop interface.

Yes, that's exactly what I did. After rasterizing, I had to get the tilt right, but then the size was off because there is a gradual decrease in the size of the letters as you get further away. I tried to age the sign a little bit with some color variations, because the original color didn't look right due to a glare on the windshield. I used the edit and distort tool to do most of the work on the lettering though.
The font took a while because the letter styling on the existing signs appears to be two different fonts combined, So I had to use a bold font and choose my letters carefully. The whole thing took about thirty minutes. But I don't guess that's bad for my first try.
Of course I know you could do it a lot faster, since you are some sort of Photoshop Minja True Believer Wanna-Be.
