Sheila Jackson Lee hospitalized.

Washington: Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Tx) was rushed to the hospital this evening after having had her face bitten off by a large, carnivorous animal.
While eye-witness accounts vary, it was generally agreed that it was some type of chipmonk. Hospital spokesman Gordon Lewis told the AP that Representative Lee is in guarded condition following emergency surgery to reconnect the severed face.

In related news, Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) was also admitted to the hopital for observation following an altercation with House security officers following the State of the Union address.
